Carrie Callaway is a Southern California artist and designer specializing in couture crowns and headpieces.  When asked about the inspiration behind her craft she describes, " As a little girl I was obsessed with the glamorous starlets in old movies. Ester Williams, Rita Hayworth, and Lana Turner in their incredible costumes were the epitome of beauty to me, and I knew I wanted to be part of that in some way. I love creating headpieces, they're this magical accessory that can just transform you."  Even the name of her business, Scarlet Harlow, is an homage to the starlets, and the era of Hollywood that ignited her dreams of design.

With a background in Fine Art and Fashion Design she creates one of a kind pieces in her home studio that can be seen on the runway, photoshoots, costumes and more.  Every Scarlet Harlow piece is handmade by Carrie herself, from the heart, and is one of a kind.
